JobScout release notes
Every released version of JobScout, newest first, with what changed in it — written at the moment the release was cut, not reconstructed afterwards.
Collect job posts from LinkedIn, jobs.ch and jobup.ch in Switzerland, or LinkedIn, MyCareersFuture and JobStreet in Singapore, into one list on your computer. Read each description in the app, score every job against your profile with DeepSeek or a local ollama model, and let saved searches run on their own and notify you about the good matches.
Current version
Version 0.1.1, released 16 October 2026. This is what the download buttons below install.
Added
- JobScout is available as a signed download for macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), Windows and Linux on JobScout's page. It tells you when a newer version is out, with a link to download it.
- JobScout Pro. The free version keeps one watch: one search that runs on its own and notifies you about good matches. Searching, scoring and export are never limited. Pro keeps any number of watches, in every country. Buy it on JobScout's page, then click Get Pro… at the bottom of the sidebar and paste the key. The key is checked on your computer: no account, nothing sent anywhere.
- A sun/moon button at the top right switches between light and dark. JobScout starts in the same mode as your computer and follows it when it changes, until you pick one with the button.
Free for personal, educational and non-profit use, with one watch. Searching, scoring and export are never limited. Commercial use — including a recruiter or a consultant on client work — requires JobScout Pro, which also keeps any number of watches, in every country. Every build is produced by release CI and served from mayorana.ch.
The same history, as JSON
This page is generated from a feed published beside the builds — the same file JobScout reads when it checks for an update. Point a script at it if you track versions across a team.
