Fixed

  • Home no longer keeps reporting "WorkflowNotFound" errors for a workflow that was deleted or renamed in Azure. AIS Monitor remembers your chains between launches, so a workflow that has since gone stayed in them until you clicked Refresh. Now, when Azure says a workflow no longer exists, the chains are rebuilt from what is deployed and the activity log lists which workflows were dropped.

  • AIS Monitor now shares anonymous usage statistics: whether it is installed and opened, its version and your operating system. It is on by default; a note at the bottom of the window tells you once, and nothing is sent before you have seen it. Turn off there stops it for good and deletes anything not yet sent. Your files, data and accounts are never part of it. It also stays off if DO_NOT_TRACK, DISABLE_UPDATE_CHECK or MAYORANA_NO_TELEMETRY is set.

  • On Home, each queue under "Dead-letter backlog" now has a 🔗 button that opens it straight in Service Bus Explorer in the Azure Portal, so you can peek, resubmit or purge its dead letters without going through the Chains tab first.

  • On Home, click a workflow under "Workflows running" to follow that run live in the console at the bottom: its actions appear in the order they start, with their status, start time and how long each took, refreshed every few seconds until the run finishes. The console then shows how the run ended and stays open until you close it.

  • On Function Apps, each function has a Runs button that lists its recent invocations — successful and failed — with time, result, status code and duration. Click an invocation to see the log lines it wrote, warnings and errors highlighted, with a button to copy them all. Needs Application Insights, and follows the metrics range picker.

  • The other tabs — Functions, Health Check, Resource Health, Event Grid, App Settings, Variable Groups, RBAC, Observability and Diagnostics — now load in the background once your chains are discovered, one every few seconds, so they are usually ready by the time you open them instead of starting their scan on first click.

  • In a chain's Workflows tab, the "also fed by" line now has a space between the label and each feeding workflow, instead of running the names together.

  • On Home, the run log under "Still failing" now disappears when its workflow is no longer in the list — after switching to a shorter window such as Today, or once the workflow recovers — instead of staying open with nothing selected.

  • A banner at startup for occasional messages from us, such as a request for feedback. It is fetched once from mayorana.ch, stays until you dismiss it and is not shown again after that. If the notice cannot be fetched, no banner appears and startup is not slowed. Setting DISABLE_UPDATE_CHECK turns it off along with the update check.
