Blog Toolkit release notes

Every released version of Blog Toolkit, newest first, with what changed in it — written at the moment the release was cut, not reconstructed afterwards.

Write, generate, and schedule blog posts from your desktop. AI drafting via DeepSeek or Claude, markdown editor with live preview, queue-to-publish flow, weekly auto-publish, and multi-language support (FR/EN) — all in one native app.

Current version

Version 0.1.6, released 28 August 2026. This is what the download buttons below install.

Changed

  • Packaging only — no user-visible change.

Free for personal, educational and non-profit use. Commercial use — including a solo consultant on client work — requires a licence. Every build is produced by release CI and served from mayorana.ch.

All versions

Blog Toolkit 0.1.5

Added

  • A LinkedIn tab: generate a LinkedIn post from a product or topic and the points you want to make, in French or English, keep it in a queue, and mark it as posted once you have published it on LinkedIn.
  • Each generated blog post comes with a LinkedIn and an X teaser, shown under the post with a copy button.
  • Per-project settings in a blog-toolkit.yaml file at the project root, so several sites can each have their own prompts and author. The content folders for each language are detected the first time a project is opened.
  • A light and dark theme toggle, following the system theme at startup.

Changed

  • Downloads now come from mayorana.ch instead of GitHub.
  • Blog Toolkit is source-available under the PolyForm Noncommercial licence: free for personal, educational and noncommercial use.

Blog Toolkit 0.1.4

Changed

  • Packaging only — no user-visible change.

Blog Toolkit 0.1.3

Changed

  • Blog Manager is now called Blog Toolkit. Settings are stored under the new name, so API keys saved in an earlier version have to be entered again.

Blog Toolkit 0.1.2

Changed

  • Packaging only — no user-visible change.

Blog Toolkit 0.1.1

Added

  • First release. Open a blog project folder and see its queued and published posts per language, with a rendered preview of the selected post.
  • Generate a post from a title and a short summary with DeepSeek or Claude, and save it to the queue as a draft.
  • Edit a queued post's markdown, then publish it to the site or delete it.

The same history, as JSON

This page is generated from a feed published beside the builds — the same file Blog Toolkit reads when it checks for an update. Point a script at it if you track versions across a team.

Need it adapted to your work?

Each of these tools is built and maintained by us. If you need a variant — a different data source, your own conventions, a feature your team is missing, an on-prem build — that is the kind of work we take on.
